Ink is the perfect medium to colour our lovely smooth Birch wood shapes and embellishments.

This chalky, matte ink will add colour whilst still allowing the natural grain of the wood to show through. Great to colour our gingerbread men.

The dew drop shape makes these ink pads very easy to use – just lightly swipe over the surface of the shape or use the pointed end for edging. See more tips in the description below!

Why not try stamping with your rubber or acrylic stamps directly onto our wooden shapes – a lovely way to decorate the wood. These inks can also be used on all your paper craft projects including card making and scrapbooking.

Description

VersaMagic is a pigment chalk ink.

Ideal to use directly onto our wooden shapes by swiping across the surface or add detail to the edge of a shape with the pointed end of the ink pad. A great alternative to acrylic paint and perfect for smaller projects; this technique is very easy and not at all messy as the ink will not run or spill over the edges.

Baby wipes can be used to remove some of the ink if you make a mistake or want to lighten the colour, or sanding back with a fine sandpaper after inking the wood can also be effective.

These dew drops stack well for storage and have air tight lids to prevent the ink pad from drying out.
